Rucking Fules

Excerpt from a history text book for class 3, circa 2152, Sector 42, Kurukkupettai Galaxy

Long ago, in the era of annoying ringtones, overcharging auto-rickshaws and pointless soap operas, a crime was perpetrated against a generation of kids. Cruel experiments involving sensory deprivation were performed on them. In the name of providing engineering “education”, a certain university in the sea-side town of Chennai (galactic coordinates here ) imposed rules. Rules, boys and girls. Rules. Ok. Let us let the picture to the talking.

Excerpt from “Da Rules of Satyabhama College”. Click on the image to read this manifesto of oppression.

Da Rules

I have no more words. May this universe never experience this kind of college administration ever again.

  1. Many of these private engineering colleges focus on the wrong things. I have even heard of colleges having partitions on the roads and even in classrooms to ensure that “boys and girls don’t interact” ๐Ÿ˜‰ …Funny guys..There have been cases when the watchman literally blows the whistle when he finds a boy and girl speaking to each other in the corridor. God bless these colleges…I just wish these colleges focus on better faculty, infrastructure and education.

  2. crazy! Hilarious! Atrocious!. I was thinking that my college was the worst one in the world. But this is ground breaking. Aptly titled – Rucking fules.

  3. Just landed here on random surfing ๐Ÿ™‚
Am very curious to know! Did u photoshop those rules or is it real?

  4. live hell…..dats vat jailbamais al bout..full vd fucking n sucking faculty members…..if i wud hv got a chance…i wud hv done shit on d chairman n d chacellor……

  5. jeppiar is one total big fkin hypocrite.. I heard some stuff.. Dunno how many of you have heard of it.. Pudhupettai was inspired by Jeppiar’s story it seems.. I got this from a very cine-knowledgible friend of mine.. To have him advising on proper behavior is like having karan johar advising us how to have healthy children..

  6. Hey, these rules are framed to make the generation to become a better citizen in the future. All of you, who have taken these rules as RUCKING FULES, will realise the necessity and importance of such rules in future when you send your children to colleges. Grow up and be a good citizen.

    1. What makes a generation better citizens ?? Concentration camps that turn them into socially retarded freaks ? That don’t allow them the experience of making mistakes and learning by them ?? That don’t allow them to choose from various ways of life and picking the one that best suits them ??? EDUCATIONAL insti’s shud offer education – n stop poking their noses into their students personal lives (and hygiene habits) !
Mr. Ranga – I think ur problem is that u didn’t go to Jailabama ! How abt spending the next 4 yrs there swotting up stuff u ll never use in life, and kneeling in the sun for borrowing an eraser [and i mean ERASER only ๐Ÿ˜‰ ] from ur girl classmate ??

    2. You know what, sir? I spent 4 years in one of those prisons. They didn’t have this as a written down rule, but rather as an unspoken guideline, like the British constitution. And do you know what came out of it? Nothing. Produced some of the WORST citizens, frustrated, crazy, anit-social, alcoholic and devoid of any perceivable social skills.

I would never let my children go through what I went through there.

Grow up and move on Mr. Rangarajan. You must leave the ancient times behind to rest in peace.

  7. You gotta love “J. All Girls should tie their hair inside college”
I can just imagine the scores of nubile young things alighting from THE COLLEGE BUS and simultaneously plaiting their hair…just inside the univ walls…Jaypeeyaaru??

  8. I studied in this Mother F***ing college at its worst. Squads, and all. It was shit, 4 years in hell n 3yrs on i’m still having nightmares. Still find it hard to talk to gals having been in that oppressive environment and in the shit hostel. Just sick. Wish I had known bout the rules before I had joined, I woulda joined some other good college, like SRM and had a better life.
    Sigh . . .
Now its too late for me . . .
Just hope that others don have to go through the same . . .
    bail out b4 u end up there . . .

  9. endured sathyabama and its creator – Jeppiar for at least 3 months before I could gather the courage to tell my parents that ‘NO MATTER WHAT I AM GETTING OUTTA THIS PLACE”!!!!
Though I believe that things have drastically changed now – Ever since the Riots (long story) the management has been so scared that they dare not implement these ridiculous rules!!!! Freedom always finds its way!!!!

  10. i cant believe that there really are sadist parents who send their “gems” to places like that and chokka is right…

  11. AWFUL!!! These rules were probably picked up from terrorist boot camps. Lord KRISHna save the engineering folk ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

  12. WTF!!

It’s two years since you wrote this post. Wonder if these colleges still have the same rules.
Also with too many colleges and demand for Engineering seats going down, I wonder if they can still afford to keep these utterly stupid rules.

No wonder many of these students lack the social skills required to interact with the opposite gender at corporate environments.

  13. So I’m hearing a lot of guys saying that they don’t know how to interact with girls because of this, but how do the girls get along with meeting and talking to a guy? (Or does it not matter to guys how girls interact with them as long as there’s interaction?) Just wondering because I had no idea that this kind of stuff was still going on.

  14. I like those rucking rules…………. They are good since there will be dignity maintained by the students and it will be good reputation to the college also……….. u students dont care about the future and talk some non sense here………. are u all from a good family………. 888—-39—-46—-44—-1

  15. A highly useful tip for Satyabhama fule makers:

Replace every detailed rucking fule, with one simple, equally rucking one,

“If you really feel like doing something, and don’t feel guilty about it, then it’s definitely banned – just for the freedom and happiness it gives you. And punishment comes along, and is proportional to the pleasure caused by the action”.

  16. What college. Happens in my school. Talking means relationship for some psycho teachers. Ruining friendships and turning parents against you.

  17. Hi there! This post could not be written any
better! Reading this post reminds me of my good old room mate!

He always kept chatting about this. I will forward this article to him.
Fairly certain he will have a good read. Thanks for sharing!

  18. I do like the way you have framed this specific issue plus it really does provide me a lot of fodder for thought. On the other hand, coming from what I have experienced, I basically hope when the feed-back pile on that folks keep on issue and in no way get started upon a soap box associated with some other news du jour. Still, thank you for this fantastic piece and although I do not go along with it in totality, I respect your standpoint.
