Glossary

I noticed that I had written a glossary page a while back but forgot to publish it. So here it is.

I am so full of Biriyani, Khubani ka Meetha and exhausted from staring at churidhaars and sarees at General Bazaar that my travelogue will commence only tomorrow.

i am enlightened. I knew jalsa, but was guessing on jilpa (after all i left chennai and tamil nadu in the last century). I was sort of in ballpark but your example put everything in the right perspective ๐Ÿ™‚

Funny post – worth the re-mention!

BTW, you actually were giving some attention that you were staring all the time? I usually space out after the first 2 minutes – its then all a blur but one in extreme slow motion that you are painfully still aware of it.

“That is a Totoro. Posts requiring me to use the 4-letter โ€œcโ€ word will use this category instead.”
    And, what is that?
‘Coat’: for articles being referred to within “..”…
‘Cent’: your two points of humble opinion…
‘Cant’: either things you are unable to do (like talking straight), or rhythmic posts like the Bard post….
    ‘Coot’: description of your ex-bosses/colleagues..
Is any of this what you referred to?

    Mahendra,
I detect a faint whiff of Rambodoc’s influence on you ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, I always believed “reading maketh a man” – one does get influenced by what one reads, isn’t it? And Rambodoc is such an influential person! ๐Ÿ™‚

    โ€œreading maketh a manโ€
    Mahendra,
    And, you forgot…
    “Bleeding maketh a woman!”
